Unicare looked to Gaelite for its rebranding requirements due to our expertise in this area. Gaelite worked closely with Unicare to manufacture a corporate identity that was innovative, exciting and changed the face of its many outlets. The new brand incorporated an internally illuminated fascia, for shop fronts, complete with the Unicare ‘Pestle & Mortar’ logotype . Also required to complete Unicare’s requirements were two types of projecting signs - neonised and reflective sign.
A leading Irish design agency worked with Unicare to design a more modern corporate identity. Gaelite's Design Department drew up a proposal to translate the new identity into a signage system. This included an internally illuminated fascia complete with a 3D blow moulded dome in the new corporate colours.
Production Process
1. A full site survey was completed. This provided the dimensions required by Production Manager to initiate production process.
2. Based on survey and requirements a quotation was sent to Unicare.

Upon sign-off of quote Gaeilte manufactured five elevations of the new look fascia, four were complete with the three dimensional logo.
4. The metal department constructed the fascia with folded aluminium panels.
5. Clear perspex letters were cut using a state of the art routing machine. Our vinyl department then covered these letters in high quality translucent vinyl.
6. The paint shop applied semi-matt 2k acrylic paint in coporate colours to the panels to finish off the look.
