This Year sees the 50th Anniversary celebrations of the Mace Brand. To mark the ocassion a very special convention was organized in The Radisson Hotel in Galway.
The Convention kicked off on Sunday evening the 7th of March.
With hundreds of retailers gathering from all parts of the country.
The Inis Mor room of the Radisson was transformed into a spectacular mock retail environment. Every element of retailing was showcased including signage, shopfitting, display, products, and point of sales material. Numerous suppliers including Bewley's, Perk, and Cuisine De France were on hand in custom built units to dispense their offerings.
As part of the convention Gaelite manufactured and installed a host of different signs (see photographs right and below).
Speakers at the Event included Sean Gallagher of The Dragon's Den and Declan Ralph, Retail Development Manager for BWG. Grainne Seoige was MC. A new strategy for Mace moving forward was outlined as well as interviews with long standing Mace Retailers.
