Gaelite crafts unique signs and wayfinding system for Ireland's newest and trendiest 4 Star Hotel

The Gibson Hotel opened it's doors to the Public in June 2010 and is being fast recognized as Dublin's most chic and contemporary hotels.

Gaelite was delighted to be involved with this project from it's very inception. It worked in conjunction with hotel owners, Scott Tallon Walker Architects and Neworld Design Agnency to create Lettering for the exterior of the building. Great time and attention was taken to design and manufacture large scale sets of letters that would light perfectly and clearly identify the building. These are positioned on the roof line of the South and West Elevations.

Other exterior signs include a set of letters above the cube, the Conference centre letters and totem.

Evidence of Gaelite's skilled craftsmen can be seen all through out the interior of the hotel. We manufactured a wayfinding system to the exacting design of Neworld. They were created from beautiful and contemporary materials including stainless steel and glass look alike perspex. Individual room numbers were constructed from folded aluminium geometric panels with internal illumination.

The Hemidemisemiquaver Bar is home to a set of unique letters mounted onto the ceiling. These vivid Rubine red letters light exquisitely and add to the ambience of the hotel.

A specially commissioned artwork was printed by a brand new state of the art printer and spans the huge servery doors.

The Coda Eatery features a black stainless steel symbol fret cut with graphic and peforated returns as well as a lightbox with push though letters.

A unique totem greets visitors on the ground floor as they take the escalators to the reception.

We also did all the signs for the back of house to guide members of staff.

Underbed LED lighting and feature lighting for the wine rack was supplied by Gaelite.
